KEN THORSEN B.SC., P. ENG APPOINTED TO ADVISORY BOARD

Ken Thorsen has joined Network Exploration Ltd.'s advisory board.

Mr. Thorsen has had over 37 years of experience in the exploration business, having previously held the position of general manager of advanced projects for Teck Cominco. Mr. Thorsen had a distinguished 21-year career with Teck, rising from regional exploration manager, where he had an instrumental role in the discovery of the Estrades massive sulphide project in northwestern Quebec. Since 1994, Mr. Thorsen has held several positions at Teck's head office in the exploration department, including 2-1/2 years as president of Teck Exploration Ltd., where he was responsible for carrying out Teck's exploration projects worldwide.

Prior to Teck, Mr. Thorsen spent two years with SMDC (now Cameco) and previous to that over eight years with Selection Trust, where he was responsible for the discovery of the Leinster mine in Australia.

Mr. Thorsen is a professional engineer and has a degree in geological engineering. He has vast experience in exploration for many commodities, including gold, silver, copper, zinc, nickel, platinum, palladium, diamonds and uranium, and has been involved in exploration programs in Mexico, Canada, the United States, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Australia, China, Africa, Panama and central Asia.

Mr. Thorsen will be providing his extensive past experience in assisting the company in its evaluating of potential new mineral acquisition.
