Mr. Alexander Helmel reports
NETWORK HIRES SENIOR GEOLOGIST TO
TARGET A MAJOR PROPHYRY COPPER PROPERTYNetwork Exploration Ltd. (TSX.V: NET.H, OTCPK:NETYF) has retained the services of Marco Fernandez-Concha Murazzi, a registered geologist based in Chile, to identify a major porphyry copper property for acquisition in South America.
The company's focus will be in Chile and Peru, which are known as leading producers of copper and other base metals. Currently, Chile leads all nations in world copper production and is the home of the multibillion-dollar BHP-backed Escondida mine -- the largest copper mine in the world.
Mr. Murazzi has over 25 years of extensive exploration and geological experience in South America. He has worked with several multinational mining companies including Noranda Inc. serving as its South American exploration manager (1990 to 1994) and Teck Peru S.A. (1994 to 1999) where he served as its general manager responsible for Latin America.
With his previous industry experience in South America, Mr. Murazzi has had exposure to a number of mineral properties which warrant our review for possible acquisition. In addition, he has a strong background and experience in mineral exploration, geological assessments, reserve calculations, feasibility study preparation and mine management.
Richard Schnoor, director of international operations, comments, "Marco Murazzi's hands-on experience in South America and intimate knowledge of underdeveloped properties in the region will make him a very valuable addition to our exploration team and should greatly assist us in our acquisition efforts."
