NETWORK APPOINTS ROBERT FRIESEN TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Vancouver, British Columbia: The Board of Directors of Network Exploration Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX.V: NET.H) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Robert Friesen to the Company’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Friesen is a prominent mining consultant having over 40 years of mining and exploration experience. He has served several major and junior corporations, including five years with Teck Exploration Ltd. and 17 years with the Noranda group. Mr. Friesen has extensive experience in underground and open pit mining operations, mine area exploration, and the development of projects from pre-feasibility through production.

During his term with Teck Exploration, Mr. Friesen served as Project Geologist at the Alaskan Niblack joint venture project and the Alaskan Pogo Mine (gold) feasibility project. With the Noranda group, he served as Chief Geologist of Ontarios’s Geco Mine (copper, zinc, silver) and as Chief Geologist at the Samatosum Mine (silver, copper, lead, zinc, gold) located in British Columbia.

Mr. Friesen has worked with a number of multi-scaled open pit and underground mining projects including British Columbia’s Mount Copeland Mine (molybdenite), Ontario’s Golden Giant Mine (gold), Ontario’s Musselwhite Mine (gold), Australia’s Frances Creek Mine (iron), Fiji’s Emperor Mine (gold), and most recently at an advanced copper-gold exploration program in the Afton camp in British Columbia. Several of these projects began at pre-feasibility and developed into producing mines.

Mr. Friesen will join the Board of Directors of the Company to provide critical input into the development and exploration of its Caldera copper-gold project in Chile and its Pistala copper project in Peru; additionally, Robert’s extensive experience will provide valuable input into corporate strategy, property sourcing, and project acquisition.
