Mr. Alexander Helmel, B.Sc.
President & CEO
Mr. Helmel became a director of the company in March 2006. He brings over 15 years of experience working with private and publically traded companies, and has specific expertise working with resource focussed companies on strategy formulation, corporate governance and operational capacities. He has been involved with multiple exploration companies and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Giyani Gold Corp. and Rara Terra Minerals Corporation. Mr. Helmel obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia in 1994.
Mr. Moises Uribe
Chief Financial Officer
Trained as a Management Accountant, Moises has experience in operations management, investment banking, corporate finance and securing capital for publicly traded companies. Mr. Uribe serves as the CFO for Mountainview Capital and brings strategic connections to the Latin-American mining industry.
Mr. Desmond Balakrishnan, LLB
Corporate Secretary
Mr.Balakrishnan has been Corporate Secretary since March May 2008. He has been Partner at McMillan LLP since 2004 and a Corporate Securities Lawyer since 2002. Desmond is a Member of the Vancouver Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association and the International Masters of Gaming Law. He is a recipient of Business in Vancouver's Top 40 Under 40 Award. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in May 1997. He is a Vancouver Lawyer and holds a BA (April 1994), CLA from Simon Fraser University and an LLB from University of Alberta in August, 1997.
